LRA studio was called to design a 2.00 sq meters square, in the down town area city of Ellassona in central Greece. The previous use of the square was uncontrolled parking space. With the new landscape proposal, affected of the traditional Greek Squares, a Platanus tree was proposed for the center, to give shade in the summer and sun in the winter, a nice water feature remining the close by small river, and enough space on the periphery of the square for the shops to serve food and drinks outside. The pavement is a combination of local flagstones and rough surfaced marble.
