The housing development in Porto Heli consists of 11 residences situated in two distinct levels with elevation difference between them 10 meters on a plot of approximately 10acres. The total landscape design proposed by our office, cared for the inclusion of all of the construction in the landscape, through aesthetic transformation of the total shared space, in order to create an instantly recognizable residential complex. Important parameters were the location of communal functions, such as parking and road works, as well as the design of swimming pools and gardens of each residence. In addition, the inclusion of each residence in the existing landscape was a design challenge, as the residence is part of the landscape and so should be treated. Plants with mostly summer blooming were chosen and that are harmonized to the ecological conditions of the Peloponnesus.
