Located in Palaiokastro, Thessaloniki, this private residence occupies a 7,000 m² site and is conceived as an integrated composition of architecture and landscape. Developed according to the design principles of Landscape–Roidis Studio, the project seeks to establish a seamless dialogue between the built form and its natural surroundings, treating the landscape as an essential component of the overall spatial experience.

The landscape design organizes a sequence of outdoor environments that extend the functions of the residence beyond its enclosed spaces. Gardens, circulation routes, and recreational areas are carefully arranged to enhance usability, comfort, and visual continuity, creating a fluid relationship between interior and exterior living.

Central to the design is the idea of a balanced coexistence between house and garden. Rather than serving as a decorative backdrop, the landscape operates as an active spatial framework that shapes the experience of the site. Through the use of soft geometries, carefully structured open spaces, and a naturalistic planting palette, the design responds to the architectural form while reinforcing its presence within the broader landscape.

Planting is used strategically to frame views, define outdoor rooms, and create seasonal variation, while preserving a sense of openness and connection to the surrounding environment. The resulting composition highlights the sculptural qualities of the residence, softens the transition between architecture and nature, and establishes a cohesive living environment where built and natural elements function as a unified whole.

The project demonstrates an approach in which landscape and architecture are conceived simultaneously, creating a residential setting that is both functional and deeply connected to its place.
