Landscape–Roidis Studio was commissioned to design the landscape for Ardamis, a wedding and event venue located in the countryside outside Argos, in the Peloponnese. The project focused on creating a refined and memorable outdoor setting capable of accommodating both large-scale celebrations and more intimate social gatherings.

The landscape design was conceived as an integral part of the visitor experience, carefully orchestrating arrival sequences, circulation routes, gathering spaces, and visual focal points throughout the property. Water features were introduced to enhance the atmosphere and provide a sense of elegance and tranquility, while a comprehensive lighting strategy was developed to transform the venue after sunset, creating a warm and inviting environment for evening events.

Planting played a central role in shaping the character of the venue. A carefully curated palette of trees, shrubs, and ornamental species was selected to provide seasonal interest, spatial definition, and a distinctive landscape identity. The vegetation softens the built elements while reinforcing a sense of place and enhancing the overall aesthetic quality of the setting.

The result is a cohesive landscape that balances functionality, beauty, and atmosphere, offering a versatile outdoor environment where architecture, planting, water, and light come together to create a memorable backdrop for celebrations and special occasions.
