PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This private Camp site is a six-acre landscape design project overlooking the Kassandra gulf in Chalikdiki, Greece. The camp is situated in the mountain cliff 1000m away from the sea. The camp site consists of two buildings where the children are accommodated and one main building where the restaurant and the administration are located. The layout master plan designed by HRLA team propose an open theatre for summer events, an open air church, organized play areas and a lot of green areas and pedestrian pathways. A car park for the Sunday’s visitors provided, away from children’s activities. The HRLA team except the master plan, execute the design development, and the detailed design, of the project. In terms of materials the local flagstones are selected as the base material for the pavement of the pathways and pave blocks for the roads. The planting scheme includes native trees integrated throughout the camp area as well as association of native with exotic shrubs and ground covers, that thrive well in this part of the country.
